Deborah Ahenkorah Wins Yale Book Publishing Scholarship!

Future of Ghana 2015 top 30 U30 pioneer Deborah Ahenkorah has been selected  as one of four winners of Yale’s University inaugural “Innovative Leader Scholarship” to this summer’s Leadership Strategies in Magazine Media and Leadership Strategies in Book Publishing .  The scholarships enable emerging leaders, who might not otherwise have the financial resources, to participate in an unique educational experience at Yale.

Deborah joins Antionette G. Kerr from the USA,  Comfort Sakoma from Nigeria and Tarek El-Elaimy from the Egypt/USA as winners across two categories. Deborah was the International winner in the Book publishing scholarship category.

Deborah founded Golden Baobab, a non-profit organization, whose mission is to enable Africans to create written content for children that reflect African experiences. She also founded the African Bureau for Children’s Stories to make sure these books got into the hands of children all over the world.

Congratulations Deborah from everyone at the Future of Ghana on this wonderful Achievement!
