Following our internal restructure we have five exciting new vacancies within the Future of Ghana team for our first round of recruitment from 10th May – 11th June 2021.

Alumni Relations Manager

Volunteer Role
To manage all activities and relations of all alumni of the Future of Ghana top 30 U30 pioneers alumni network.
  • Developing and implement an Alumni Relations strategy.
  • Overseeing liaison between the Alumni Relations team members and other FOG core team members to ensure there is effective communication with colleagues on matters relating to alumni events, alumni group activities, Future of Ghana publications, web and email communication.

Creative Design Officer

Volunteer Role
To support the Creative Director in the design, ideation and development of content across all FOG initiatives and projects.
  • Taking ownership and responsibility for print ready artwork files and web digital output files
  • Displaying exceptional attention to detail, grid obsessed and meticulous with filing and outputting files
  • Responsible for internal artwork sign-off procedure and version control
  • Assisting with Creative Director with re-brands and developing branding guidelines

Social Media Coordinator

Volunteer Role
To create an online presence for Future of Ghana through the use of digital media software and visual communication skills.
  • Developing and curating engaging content & relevant campaigns for FOG social media platforms.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.

  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries and comments

  • Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy

Public Relations (PR) Officer

Volunteer Role
To co-ordinate all aspects of FOG’s planned publicity campaigns, PR activities and events.
  • Planning or directing the development of all FOG events in consultation with the PR Manager
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with consumer, community and public interest groups.
  • Assisting in coaching FOG colleagues and representatives in effective communication with the public
  • Answering enquiries from the media and other parties, tracking media coverage and industry trends

Fundraising & Partnerships Manger

Volunteer Role
To identify and secure external funding opportunities from a range of funders/organisations, to improve business performance and further develop Future of Ghana’s activities in the UK and Ghana.
  • Creating the overall fundraising strategy for FOG’s activities.
  • Coordinating campaigns and fundraising activities
  • Identifying and researching potential funding opportunities from existing and new funding sources.
  • Increasing funding opportunities by researching and targeting charitable trusts whose criteria match the Future of Ghana’s aims and Objectives.
